Roncesvalles neighbourhood is predominately residential
area located in the central west end of the city of Toronto.
Its commercial strip is composed predominately
of small businesses, churches and institutions.

Village is an older part of Toronto, first subdivided and
cleared in the early 1800s, and most
residential development dates from the early 1900s.
The
area is bordered by High
Park, the largest park in the city. It is a mixed recreational
and natural park, with sporting facilities, cultural facilities,
educational
facilities, gardens, playgrounds and a zoo.
